Maybelline Superstay 24 Color VoxBox Review!

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've posted any blog entries and I totally apologize about that. LIFE has been happening lately. Anywho, I got a super FAB Influenster Beauty voxbox the other day and I wanted to share my thoughts about it with you! This blog entry is geared toward the ladies, obviously lol.

Maybelline sent me 2 brand new Superstay 24 color lipglosses in a light shade and in a dark shade as you can see in the pictures above. The light shade is called 136 Constant Toast and the darker shade is called 025 Keep Up The Flame. 

In the picture above I have on the Constant Toast and let me just say that I'm NOT a fan of this color. It's way too light for me! I would have preferred a bright shimmery or non-shimmery pink. But I do love the fact that it stays ON no matter what! You're supposed to first apply the gloss, wait about 2 minutes or a lil less, then apply the lip balm as seen in the picture below.

Check out the applicator on this bad boy! I LOVE it!!! ^_^ What do you think? Made for luxurious comfort! lol

Next we have one of my fav lipgloss colors: Keep Up The Flame! Omg do you SEE how sexy this color is?! Ladies you can believe every single word I'm about to tell you....once you apply this combo, THERE'S NO SMEARING OFF! Kiss your man, sip your coffee/tea, accidentally wipe your resume paper across your lips...it AIN'T COMIN' OFF!!!! Wooo Hooooo!!!!! Wear this on a hot date or on date night with your Prince Charming...kiss him passionately...not only will he be super perked up to see you with it on but when he realizes the passionate kiss wasn't a messy one with red lipstick all over his lips, he'll love you even MORE honey! "Yaaaaaassss!!!", as they say lol ;)

Now, the reason for the fading is because I wanted to show you all how I was FINALLY able to remove the lipgloss after it dried up. At first I thought it would be IMPOSSIBLE to remove cuz I tried the good ol' washcloth and water but that didn't work lol. Then a sudden thought came to me..."COCONUT OIL!!!!" Yes! I remembered that coconut oil is the top BEST and all-natural makeup remover! It will take you a couple of tries...I'd say about 6-8 wipes. Your lips may feel slightly raw afterwards so just apply a very moisturizing lip balm when you're done. Voila! 

This is the amazing coconut oil I used to remove the stubborn, yet gorgeous lipgloss! Any coconut oil will do the job right so hakuna matata!

Lipgloss Obsession and Lip Care

So my lipgloss collection is growing little by little but I need to stop obsessing over lipglosses that are on sale! I don`t if any of you ladies are just as obsessed as I am but I absolutely LOVE lipgloss as you can see lol. Like I just can`t leave the house without putting on some lipgloss cuz I`m not trying to embarrass myself by having chapped up lips, that`s a HUGE NO NO in my book. When I head out I usually have 4 lipglosses with me: a healing mint based one, red or pink tinted flavored one, oil based one, and a glitter flavored red or pink one lol. I`m sorry but my motto is: `You never know who you`re going to meet!` So looking and being on point is a must for me each time I head out the house. I`m not really huge on makeup like that but a lady`s eyebrows and lips must always look good! And of course a well-taken-care-of-foundation-free face. 

On Dr.Oz recently he was talking about how some lip balms are addictive and that`s cuz of these 3 chemicals in it: menthol, camphor and phenol. He suggests to stay AWAY from lip balms or any lip product that contains these 3 chemicals. Also these are the chemicals that cause nice tingling sensations on your lips. Now what he does suggest you to get are any lip products that have Shea butter, lanolin or coconut oil. These are natural skin softeners and will do wonders for those sexy lips lol! Also for exfoliating dry lips or normal lips you take some honey n mix it with sugar until it becomes like a thick paste then rub it into your lips. I remember seeing this on YouTube. You can do this daily or a couple times a week. Just be careful not to eat up the mixture all the time cuz diabetes is super popular and you DON`T want it! Another thing I learned from Dr.Oz is that if you have a sweet tooth then buy yourself vanilla lotion, by smelling it n wearing it this will decrease your sweets cravings. Also buy cacao nibs to eat as a snack. 

Whew! Well I hope you ladies (and gents) learned a lil something from what I wrote. I also meant to mention earlier that my lipglosses range from $1.00 to $8.50 in this obsession collection lol. I`ve gotten them from my local beauty supply store, Victoria`s Secret, Payless and my top fav Bath and Body Works!

My Avon Haul

I'm so EXCITED cuz my Avon products arrived today! I haven't purchased any Avon products in so long but I've been seeing ads on almost all websites advertising many of their new and popular products and here they are! I was tempted to buy a lot but I just got a couple things as a treat...didn't want to overdo it this time lol.

Anyway here's an overview of each item:

Check out these items I got for FREE from Listia! I didn't even have to pay for shipping! I'm so glad I won these boots! The lady added extra freebies as seen in the second picture because she felt bad that I had to wait about 4 days for her to ship it to me. She didn't have to do that cuz I understood why she shipped it a few days later but I got extra happy when I saw the extras!! As soon as I got my package yesterday and saw everything, I immediately wrote to her and sent her a very heart-warming thank you letter.
