Maybelline Superstay 24 Color VoxBox Review!

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've posted any blog entries and I totally apologize about that. LIFE has been happening lately. Anywho, I got a super FAB Influenster Beauty voxbox the other day and I wanted to share my thoughts about it with you! This blog entry is geared toward the ladies, obviously lol.

Maybelline sent me 2 brand new Superstay 24 color lipglosses in a light shade and in a dark shade as you can see in the pictures above. The light shade is called 136 Constant Toast and the darker shade is called 025 Keep Up The Flame. 

In the picture above I have on the Constant Toast and let me just say that I'm NOT a fan of this color. It's way too light for me! I would have preferred a bright shimmery or non-shimmery pink. But I do love the fact that it stays ON no matter what! You're supposed to first apply the gloss, wait about 2 minutes or a lil less, then apply the lip balm as seen in the picture below.

Check out the applicator on this bad boy! I LOVE it!!! ^_^ What do you think? Made for luxurious comfort! lol

Next we have one of my fav lipgloss colors: Keep Up The Flame! Omg do you SEE how sexy this color is?! Ladies you can believe every single word I'm about to tell you....once you apply this combo, THERE'S NO SMEARING OFF! Kiss your man, sip your coffee/tea, accidentally wipe your resume paper across your lips...it AIN'T COMIN' OFF!!!! Wooo Hooooo!!!!! Wear this on a hot date or on date night with your Prince Charming...kiss him passionately...not only will he be super perked up to see you with it on but when he realizes the passionate kiss wasn't a messy one with red lipstick all over his lips, he'll love you even MORE honey! "Yaaaaaassss!!!", as they say lol ;)

Now, the reason for the fading is because I wanted to show you all how I was FINALLY able to remove the lipgloss after it dried up. At first I thought it would be IMPOSSIBLE to remove cuz I tried the good ol' washcloth and water but that didn't work lol. Then a sudden thought came to me..."COCONUT OIL!!!!" Yes! I remembered that coconut oil is the top BEST and all-natural makeup remover! It will take you a couple of tries...I'd say about 6-8 wipes. Your lips may feel slightly raw afterwards so just apply a very moisturizing lip balm when you're done. Voila! 

This is the amazing coconut oil I used to remove the stubborn, yet gorgeous lipgloss! Any coconut oil will do the job right so hakuna matata!

My Summer VoxBox Review

Greetings everyone! I hope you are all doing as well as I am! I've got a FREE subscription box review which is way overdue! I tried most of the products so I hope you find my honest review very useful. Disclaimer: Items were given to me for free only for testing purposes.

The first item is a dark green nail polish by Sinful Colors in the color Real Teal. I wore it about twice and absolutely LOVED IT! It's a slightly shiny nail polish, perfect to wear for the Fall/Winter season. Uber fashionable if you ask me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Second we have the Dickenson's Original Witch Hazel Cleansing Cloths which work PERFECTLY! They remove makeup really well and clean your face pretty good as well. If you have an oily face then these cloths are for you. I personally have an oily nose and forehead and when I use the cloths it cleanses my face spik and spanly! The only con for me was the odor. It doesn't smell BAD it just has some sort of a plain scent. I expected it to smell really good. Regardless though, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!

Third we have the Blue Diamond Almonds BOLD Sriracha. At first I thought this bad boy was gonna be really spicy but it wasn't! I absolutely LOVED this! I don't usually eat almonds but I really wished they gave me 2 packs instead of just one lol. It has this addictive flavor to it. Well-seasoned with spices that make you wanna eat another pack after the first one! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Fourth we've got the Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturizer in Aloe Sooth. It has a light aloe scent and it is VERY moisturizing! It leaves no residue nor oils to clog up your pores. It leaves your skin soft and smooth. I personally prefer this product from the infamous lotion we're all used to applying on our skin. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Fifth we have the Infusium 23 Leave-In Smoothing Creme with Avocado and Olive Oil. I haven't tried this product yet but it smells really good and I have a great feeling about this product. It reminds me a lot of the Nexxus hair products. They're very well-known for making all hair types soft and manageable. I still recommend it! Doesn't hurt to try right?

And last but not least, we've got the Bark Thins freebie coupon and 3 Dickenson's Original Witch Hazel Cleansing Cloths coupons.

My FrostyVoxBox Haul/Review

Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing very well this Holiday season! I wanted to take the time to share with you my FrostyVoxBox for December!! Check it out:

1. No7 Protect and Perfect Intense ADVANCED Sachet (Full Sized: $29.99)

This clinically proven serum is even more effective at reducing the appearance of deep lines and wrinkles for younger looking skin in just 2 weeks. I personally haven't used this cuz I don't really need it right now so I gave it to my mom.

5. Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover ($7.49)

Gently removes all eye makeup, including long-lasting and waterproof makeup, with no oily residue. Haven't tried this yet but I'm sure it will do its job pretty well. Overall, I notice that of all the Rimmel London products I've tried, they all work really well and I love all their products thus far!

6. Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner ($4.49)

Gives instant color impact with it's high intensity pigments. The ultra-smooth and creamy formula glides on easily. I tried this on the back of my hand and YES this product would be EXCELLENT for the eyes! Aside from the liquid eyeliners I like to use, I would HIGHLY recommend this eyeliner!

7. McCormick Gourmet Thyme (4.79)

The freshest flavors deserve a fresh new look! McCormick Gourmet's Thyme imparts a light minty flavor that is distinctively warm and aromatic. McCormick Gourmet Thyme can be used throughout the day in dishes such as breakfast casseroles, hearty soups, stews, stuffing and oven-roasted chicken. I've tried this in food and it made all my meals taste really GOOD!

8. Fruit Vines Bites ($1.28-$1.79)

Fruit Vines Bites are a new, soft, chewy fruit candy, from the Red Vines family, available in two fruit flavors - strawberry and and cherry. Low fat and made with no preservatives, Fruit Vines Bites are available in 3 sizes: a 2oz single serve, a 5oz hanging bag and a 10oz resealable stand-up bag and can be found at Walmart in the West, Kroger, Walgreens, Target, Safeway and Rite Aid. As soon as I saw this in my VoxBox I ate up the whole bag in 2 days! They taste soooo GOOD! Highly recommended!!

My ModaVoxBox Review!

Howdy everyone! Wow this haul/product review is long overdue! Anyway, I got my very first Influenster VoxBox sometime last month for FREE due to testing purposes. I was super excited when I saw a purple package waiting outside my front door!

Here`s a rundown of the items I got:

1. Scandaleyes Rockin` Curves Mascara (Price: $5.49-$5.99)

I usually don`t wear mascara but when I tried this on...omg...it made me look like a DIVA! No need for fake lashes! (I don`t wear fake lashes either) It makes your eyelashes look WOW that`s all I can say!

2. Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick (Price: $6.99-$7.49)

I`m more of a lipgloss gal but this lipstick is soooo sexy! I will def be wearing it, only on special occasions though. It glides on smoothly and it`s just fabulous! It`s a really nice hot pink with a touch of purple, not too light and not too dark. The color name and number is displayed in the video if you`re interested in purchasing one for yourself.

3. Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lip Liner (Price: $5.99-$6.49)

I didn`t really understand the point of the transparency but then I thought to myself since it`s a moisture renew that it keeps the outline of your lips moisurized before you apply lipstick or lipgloss. I tried it on then applied the lipstick afterwards and noticed how the lipstick glided on perfectly leaving the outline of my lips perfect in that there were no lipstick smudges. I love it! 

4. Puffs SoftPack: 1 Pack for $1.99-$2.49/ 3 pack for $4.99-$5.99

These tissues are pure awesomeness! Nice n soft, very gentle on the skin, a MUST BUY!

5. Hair Food Moisture Hair Mask (Price: $14.99)

First n foremost I have to say that THIS SMELLS SOOO GOOD! It`s got honey in it which coats the hair strands to protect and it has apricot oil in it which hydrates for softness. I tried this in my hair and not only did it make my hair smell GOOD but it left my hair feeling so soft! I would def buy this product for my hair. Ladies this is a GO! (Can be found at Target)

6. Swiss Miss Simply Cocoa (Price: $2.29)

Mmm...now who doesn`t love hot cocoa?! This one right here was super yummy! Nice, creamy, soothing taste. I would buy this any day especially during the cold season.

7. Jergens Ultra Healing Extra Dry Skin Moisturizer ($5.99/$6.99)

This was one of the BEST lotions I have ever used! I compared it to a Suave Mango Mandarin Lotion that I usually wear and the Jergens won! No more Suave for me! Very moisurizing for the ashiest of ashy skin lol!

8. Resource Spring Water (Price: $1.49)

Tastes great like Poland Spring with a slightly different taste due to the eletrolytes added to it. I would buy it for a change, why not?

Rita Ora's Fragrance Launch in NYC!

Hey everyone! I was invited to Rita Ora's fragrance launch this passed Tuesday, August 19th by a company called Influenster and the event was awesome! It was from 11am to 3pm and while I was there it seemed like the day was going slow which was great! They say time flies when you're having fun but not on that day. I must admit it was HOT but we all had fun. I felt like I was slightly over dressed but I couldn't help it I love making a great first impression wherever I go! I had on a sparkly purple top with black Brazilian skinny jeans and 2 inch heel mary jane shoes. My hair was in a snooki poof style lol. 

I don't have very much to say about this event but only that it was awesome and that I would totally attend another one! Chrissy Teigen, John Legend's wife, was there and so was AJ Calloway, one of ExtraTV's hosts. He also used to host 106 and Park with Free back in the day (late 90s---he had dreads back then).

There were also some DKNY models there handing us cute little water bottles and perfume samples and Dominique Ansel, the French chef who created the now infamous Cronut. He gave us all a free heart-shaped pastry pretzel along with a raspberry-flavored butter cream dip omgggggg....it was soooo GOOOOOOD! You guys have GOT to check out his restaurant in the city! He's located in NYC just not sure where exactly.    

I met some amazing people there and exchanged emails and twitter names with them to keep in touch. Also to share our ideas and keep each other updated on any awesome events taking place in the near future. Some of them are bloggers and some others are avid blog readers. This one lady caught me by surprise when she told me her age....let's just say she's above 30 but she looks like a teen! God bless her! Feels great to meet new people!
